Campeonatos Chineses 2011: Ding Liren e Zhang Xiaowen foram os vencedores !

Os Campeonatos Individuais Chineses 2011 tiveram lugar de 30 de Março a 10 de Abril ,em Xinghua, província de Jiangsu, China.

Tratou-se de um evento a 11 rondas com 12 jogadores. Os primeiros 8 asseguram lugar na final A dos Campeonatos do ano seguinte enquanto os últimos 4 vão jogar para o Grupo B.
O vencedor ainda assegura um lugar na selecção nacional Chinesa, que se irá disputar em Ningbo, China, ainda este ano.

O controlo e tempo foi de 90m + 30 seg./lance para todo o jogo.

A prova Geral foi ganha pelo jovem de 19 anos Ding Liren, que mostrou nesta edição que o seu primeiro titulo arrebatado em 2009 não foi sorte. Apesar da presença de jogadores de topo como Bu Xiangzhi ou Wang Yue (2734), Ding venceu com uns espectacular 9 pontos em 11 !!!

Nos Femininos, Zhang Xiaowen ganhou também de forma espectacular, com 8,5 pontos em 11 !

Ambos apresentaram excelentes partidas durante todo o Campeonato !

Campeonato Mundial Universitário com 3 portugueses em prova

Wang Yue sagrou-se no Domingo passado, Campeão Mundial Universitário ao vencer a 11ª edição deste evento.

Wang Yue conseguiu 8,5 em 9 pontos ! Venceu assim com 2 pontos de avanço para o 2º classificado.

A prova realizou-se em Zurique de 5 a 11 de Setembro, no Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.

Este evento a 9 rondas foi organizado pelo Academic Chess Club Réti e teve o aval da Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire (FISU).

Um evento de xadrez em que participaram cerca de 150 jogadores de 25 países, acompanhados por cerca de 30 delegados e treinadores.

Portugal esteve representado por três elementos:

• André Viela
• João Guerra e Costa
• Ana Margarida Ferreira

O André acabou a prova em 38º e João Guerra e Costa em 49º lugar, entre 57 jogadores da prova geral.

Em femininos, Ana Margarida Ferreira ficou em 38º entre 39 jogadoras.

Um Rei no Torneio dos Reis !

Decorre em Medias, na Roménia, a 4ª edição do... Torneio dos Reis !

Este evento de partidas clássicas a 6 jogadores começou no dia 14 e decorrerá até dia 25. Os intervenientes deste ano são: Carlsen, Gelfand, Nisipeanu, Ponomariov, Radjabov e Wang Yue.

Na quarta ronda Carlsen surpreendeu tudo e todos e, talvez numa homenagem ao evento, brindou o Torneio dos Reis com... um Gambito de Rei !

Carlsen e os seus cavalos amestrados !

Voltando a este jogo de Carlsen, jogado no 2º torneio Pearl em Nanjing e já referido neste Blog, mas agora analisado em maior detalhe pelo GM Karsten Mueller (foto à esquerda).

De um final que mais parecia empatado, Carlsen "chixoteia" os seus cavalos amestrados para uma vitória a muito alto nível !!!

De notar de Carlsen ganhou todos os jogos que fez de brancas ! No total, ganhou 6 e empatou 4 jogos. Foi brilhante !
